The PPA is for supply of 6.6 MW of renewable power to Air Liquide's facility in Jhagadia, Gujarat
Air Liquide has announce the signing of its first long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in India with Ampin Energy Transition for the supply of 6.6 MW of renewable power from a wind-solar hybrid project to its facility in Jhagadia, Gujarat.
Once operational, this project will cover most of the site’s electricity needs with renewable energy, abating approximately 22,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
This PPA is a tangible first step in decarbonizing Air Liquide's activities and aligns with its global goal of reducing absolute GHG emissions by 35% by 2035.
