The company plans to leverage its experience in data centres, industrial projects and mission-critical infrastructure to target the specialised physical infrastructure requirements of semiconductor fabs, OSAT and ATMP facilities
The partnership will combine Sony’s sensing, image-processing and edge AI technologies with Aramco’s vast industrial data, operational expertise, infrastructure and real-world use cases
The new Austin Innovation Center, unveiled Sept. 4, was made possible in part by a $23 million grant from the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund
