DCM Shriram Ltd., a leading business conglomerate with a business portfolio comprising agri-rural and chlor-vinyl business, has been recertified as a Responsible Care (RC) company for its manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat.
The company got the permission to use the Responsible Care logo after successfully completing a comprehensive assessment procedure carried out by experts. RC is the global chemical industry's voluntary Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiative to drive continuous improvement in performance.
Commenting on the recertification, Ajay S. Shriram, Chairman & Senior Managing Director, DCM Shriram Ltd. said, “It is a matter of great pride and encouragement for us that our Bharuch site has been re-certified under the coveted Responsible Care initiative. This is yet another milestone in our sustainability journey and I would like to congratulate our team for this achievement.”
