Laxmi Organic Industries plans Rs. 182 crore Capex

Proposed capacity addition for n-Butyl Acetate at Dahej and Ethyl Acetate at Lote is 70 KTA each

Laxmi Organic Industries Limited, top player in acetyl intermediaries and ketene & diKetene Intermediaries in India, has approved a capital expenditure of Rs. 181.9 crore for setting up n-Butyl Acetate plant at Dahej, Gujarat and Ethyl Acetate plant at Lote, Maharashtra.

Presently, the company is not manufacturing n-Butyl Acetate and proposed capacity addition is 70 KTA. The rationale of this demand is growing demand of the customers. The project will entail an investment of Rs. 91.4 crore and will be funded through a mix of internal accruals, debt and equity.

In the case of Ethyl Acetate, the company has an existing capacity of 200 KTA and the company is planning to expand its capacity to another 70 KTA as the utilization level has reached 90% to meet the growing demand of the customer. The project will entail an investment of Rs. 90.5 crore and will be funded through a mix of internal accruals, debt, and equity.
