The Acrylic Products business unit left the Röhm Group and is now active on the market as the independent company Polyvantis. 

With its portfolio of high-quality PLEXIGLAS semi-finished products such as sheets, tubes, rods and films, the division is one of the world's leading manufacturers of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).

Following the carve-out of the business unit, the merger with Functional Forms, SABIC's polycarbonate-based films and sheets division, is to take place in the near future. The merger will create a leading global player in acrylic and polycarbonate films and sheets.
