GPCB revokes closure order of Valiant Organics’ plant

Valiant Organics Limited has informed that Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) has granted revocation to the closure order issued for the company's manufacturing plant situated at Plot No: 918 & 919, GIDC Jhagadia, Bharuch, Gujarat. GPCB had earlier directed Valiant Organics for closure of operations of the said plant.

Andhra Sugars commissions salicylic acid plant

The Andhra Sugars Limited has commissioned and commenced commercial operations the new Salicylic Acid Plant of 2,640 TPA at Tanuku, Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Sugars Q3 2023-24 net profit declined 77.75% to Rs 8.39 crore as against Rs 37.70 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2022. Sales declined 23.28% to Rs 281.12 crore in the quarter ended December 2023 as against Rs 366.41 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2022.
