IFFCO-MC celebrates 11th Foundation Day

This year’s celebration held special significance as the company completed a decade of excellence in delivering quality and trusted agrochemical solutions to Indian farmers

IFFCO-MC Crop Science, a joint venture between the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) and Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan, celebrated its 11th Foundation Day on August 28, 2025.

This year’s celebration held special significance as the company completed a decade of excellence in delivering quality and trusted agrochemical solutions to Indian farmers.

Delivering the welcome address, Tarun Bhargava, COO, IFFCO-MC congratulated all stakeholders and acknowledged the presence of the PAN India field team connected virtually. He highlighted the company’s growth journey and expressed confidence that the next decade will be even more transformative.

Manoj Varshney, MD & CEO, IFFCO-MC reflected on the company’s achievements and its farmer-centric ethos. Quoting Andrew Carnegie, he said: “Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. It is the fuel that allows common people to achieve uncommon results.”

He outlined key milestones of the organization viz. building a 500+ professional workforce, creating 10 strong brands, establishing a unique fixed MRP single-tier distribution model, and achieving consistent profitability with record revenues in FY 2024–25. Farmer-focused initiatives like Kisan Suraksha Bima Yojana, expansion into biological crop solutions under ZenNexa brand umbrella, planned launch of a patented product in Kharif 2026–27 and commitment to people development, technology & innovation as drivers of the next decade.

Speaking on the occasion, Naohiro Yoshida, Director, IFFCO-MC expressed pride in the 10 years partnership between IFFCO and Mitsubishi Corporation. He said, “This collaboration has gone beyond business, it has been a true partnership rooted in mutual respect and shared ambition”.
