NOCIL fires up ₹Rs. 250 crore chemical plant in Gujarat

The move comes as company eyes global demand surge

  • By ICN Bureau | April 08, 2026
Rubber chemicals major NOCIL has commissioned a cutting-edge chemical plant in Gujarat. This marks a major milestone in its ₹250 crore expansion drive, aimed at boosting capacity and strengthening its global footprint.

The Pilnox TDQ/TMQ manufacturing facility, located in Dahej PCPIR, will produce critical anti-degradants used in tyres and other applications—key materials that enhance durability, performance, and safety. The move comes as demand rises both in India and international markets.

With direct access to raw materials, robust infrastructure, and port connectivity, the Dahej facility is strategically positioned to sharpen supply reliability and expand global reach.

The commissioning underscores NOCIL’s aggressive push to scale up advanced manufacturing while embedding sustainability at its core. The plant has been designed with a sharp focus on safety, energy efficiency, and responsible resource use—signaling a broader shift toward cleaner, disciplined industrial operations.

The expansion also aligns with India’s push for self-reliance in critical chemical supply chains, especially as global sourcing patterns undergo rapid transformation.

In an industry defined by scale and precision, NOCIL is doubling down on technology and capacity to stay competitive.

Commenting on the development, Anand V. S. said, “As supply chains evolve, building strong domestic capabilities is a responsibility we take seriously. The facility has been designed with a clear focus on safety and sustainability, embedding energy-efficient processes, responsible resource use, and operational discipline at every level. Our focus remains on building scale with responsibility and a long-term commitment to the ecosystem we serve.”

With this launch, NOCIL tightens its grip as a globally competitive Indian manufacturer, positioning itself at the heart of the evolving rubber and mobility ecosystem.
