SI Group names new board as it targets next phase of growth after recapitalization

The company said the appointments bring together senior leaders with deep experience across chemicals, industrial operations, and global markets

SI Group has announced a newly appointed Board of Directors, marking a major governance reset following its recapitalization and setting the stage for the company’s next phase of growth.
 
Based in The Woodlands, Texas, the global developer and manufacturer of performance additives, process solutions, and chemical intermediates said the board was formed in coordination with its new institutional owners and executive leadership team after a comprehensive recapitalization completed late last year.
 
The company said the appointments bring together senior leaders with deep experience across chemicals, industrial operations, and global markets, with a mandate to sharpen customer focus, accelerate innovation, and drive long-term value creation.
 
The new Board includes:
 
Shawn Abrams, former President of Catalyst Technologies at W.R. Grace & Co., now serving on multiple boards including PQ Corporation and Savillex Corporation.
 
Luis Fernandez-Moreno, former Interim CEO of Ingevity, currently a board member at Ingevity, Select Water Solutions, HASA, and Huber Engineered Materials.
 
Daryl Roberts, former SVP and Chief Operations & Engineering Officer at DuPont, now serving on the boards of AdvanSix and American Electric Power.
 
Jan Trnka-Amrhein, Partner at American Industrial Partners, with board roles at Enviva Biomass and Apex Tool Group.
 
David Bradley, President and CEO of SI Group, who also serves on the boards of Ecovyst and South Texas Truck Centers.
