Tagros Chemicals has significantly expanded its global reach by acquiring Bayer AG's Flubendiamide (FLB) business, including key brands and assets across LATAM, EMEA, and APAC, strengthening its position in insecticides and marking its entry into the B2C market via its new entity, Arqivo.

The definitive agreement covers solo and mixture formulations of Flubendiamide along with a comprehensive set of business assets, including globally recognized trademarks such as BELT, FAME, FENOS, FENOS QUICK, BELT EXPERT, and TIHAN.

This acquisition provides Indian farmers with direct access to proven, globally trusted Diamide-based insecticides, offering superior pest control for vital crops like rice, cotton, vegetables, and fruits. Flubendiamide products are renowned for their targeted action, long-lasting protection, and high safety profile, enabling farmers to secure yields and adopt sustainable farming methods.

Tagros’ robust manufacturing, technical expertise, and local insight will provide Indian farmers with consistent access to advanced, high-quality formulations and enhanced technical support. This initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to boosting agricultural productivity, minimizing crop losses, and strengthening food security across India.

The acquisition instantly expands Tagros’ global footprint into over 25 countries, strengthening its presence across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. Furthermore, it consolidates Tagros' leadership in the critical Diamide insecticide market.

"This transaction marks a defining moment in Tagros' journey," the company said. "By combining Bayer's globally established Flubendiamide portfolio with Tagros' scale, technical depth, and manufacturing strength, we are well positioned to serve farmers across geographies with reliable and innovative crop protection solutions."

The acquisition also marks Tagros' strategic entry into the B2C formulations business. The acquired formulations portfolio will be housed under Arqivo, Tagros' newly established entity focused on branded formulations and closer engagement with end users. Through Arqivo, Tagros aims to build strong farmer-centric brands, enhance field-level outreach, and deliver solutions tailored to local agronomic needs.

For Tagros, the transaction accelerates its transformation from a predominantly active-ingredient-focused company to an integrated global player with strong downstream capabilities. It strengthens customer relationships, enhances brand equity, and creates long-term value across the agricultural value chain.
