CPCL penalized for Rs 6.24 crore by TNPCB

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited has received a direction from Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) to pay Rs. 6.24 crore to be utilised for the conversion of the existing roads in the Manali Industrial areas into concrete roads to minimize the dust emissions from the vehicular population, as environmental compensation for not complying with the emission norms for the period April 1, to Dec 26, 2020. There is no impact on the operation and other activities of the company however, the financial implication would be limited to compensation of Rs. 6.24 crore.

Zuari Agro Chemicals to sell land parcel in Goa

Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited has executed a sale deed on with Ultra Dwell Real Estate LLP, an unrelated party, for sale of land parcel of the company measuring 65,905 square meters situated at Village Sancoale, Taluka Mormugao, District South Goa, State of Goa. The total consideration is Rs. 31.50 crore (subject to deduction of TDS at the applicable rate).

Reliance to acquire 100% in MSKVY Nineteenth Solar SPV Ltd

The Board of Directors of Reliance Industries Limited approved that 100% equity shares of MSKVY Nineteenth Solar SPV Limited and MSKVY Twenty-second Solar SPV Limited be acquired from MSEB Solar Agro Power Limited in accordance with the terms of the tender awarded to the company for setting up of aggregate solar capacity of 128 MW across various sites in Maharashtra under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0.
