Satyabhusan Dash announced as ‘BPCL Chair Professor in Customer Care’

As the Chair Professor Prof. Dash will conduct and promote research study in the area of Customer Care, build a systematic body of knowledge and establish a world class customer care centre under his leadership.

Noted academician and distinguished marketing researcher Prof. Satyabhusan Dash, Professor-Marketing at IIM Lucknow, has been appointed as the ‘BPCL (Bharat Petroleum) Chair Professor in Customer Care’. As the Chair Professor Prof. Dash will conduct and promote research study in the area of Customer Care, build a systematic body of knowledge and establish a world class customer care centre under his leadership. Bharat Petroleum is India’s one of ‘best performing’ Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), and its journey from being an Oil and Gas Company in India to a Fortune 500 oil refining, exploration and marketing conglomerate
 
Prof. S.B. Dash has also been the recipient of the prestigious Dr. Ishwar Dayal Chair Professorship for Research in the Futuristic Issues in the Behavioural Sciences and is also Chairperson of Centre for Marketing in Emerging Economies at IIM Lucknow, a globally recognized Centre of Excellence that studies, understands and educates about consumers, business and policies towards marketing in Emerging Economies. He has authored various research papers and articles which have been published in several major national and International commended journals and also co-authored ‘Marketing Research: An Applied Orientation’, text book which is considered as ‘Bible for Studying Marketing Research’, among students, academicians and professionals.
