The Bodo Möller Chemie Group integrated the client base of Spanish specialty chemicals distributor Química Tecnológica Norte (Quitec) into its distribution network.

Quitec is a long-standing distribution partner of Henkel’s in industrial surface treatment. With this acquisition, Bodo Möller Chemie is proactively reinforcing its market position in Spain while intensifying its strategic partnership with Henkel to provide an even more comprehensive service to clients in the future.

Based in San Sebastián, Quite specializes in the distribution of specialty chemical products for industrial applications. Its portfolio contains items such as industrial cleaning agents and paint pretreatment products. One focus is on marketing the Henkel brand Bonderite, which provides process-optimizing solutions in surface technology – from cleaning and metal pretreatment through to maintenance and corrosion protection.

“Quitec has established itself as a reliable partner on the market and boasts strong client retention,” affirms Lionel Breuilly, Managing Director of Bodo Möller Chemie Spain. “We not only aim to maintain this retention but also reinforce it strategically through technical expertise and tailor-made solutions.”

“Northern Spain represents an industrial growth market, where this acquisition brings us even closer to our clients. With Henkel as a strong partner and Bonderite offering an innovative, sustainable solution, we’ll be providing an impressive complete package moving forward, combining product quality and applications expertise,” states Frank Haug, CEO of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group.
