Omya Performance Polymer Distribution has secured a major new distribution agreement with SK Chemicals, taking responsibility for the sales and market development of SKYPEL thermoplastic polyester elastomers (TPE-E) across Europe effective next month.
The deal marks a significant expansion of the relationship between the two companies and is expected to strengthen the market presence of SKYPEL across key European industries.
Under the agreement, Omya Performance Polymer Distribution will deliver pan-European sales coverage, technical support and application development services for customers in automotive, electrical and electronics, wire and cable, consumer goods and other industrial sectors.
SKYPEL TPE-E combines the flexibility of rubber with the performance characteristics of engineering plastics, offering high mechanical strength, thermal stability and processing versatility. The material is designed for demanding applications that require long-term durability and reliable performance.
The partnership builds on Omya Performance Polymer Distribution’s extensive expertise in thermoplastic elastomers, including the long-established market presence and reputation of Distrupol in Northern Europe.
Leveraging its established European sales network, technical capabilities and logistics infrastructure, Omya aims to accelerate adoption of the SKYPEL portfolio and drive growth across the region.
