Saudi Arabia assures India of uninterrupted LPG supply

Post force majuere declaration by top Indian refiners, the demand for crude purchases from the Middle East has fallen sharply due to a nationwide lockdown to avoid the spread of coronavirus and the companies inability to liquidate the existing stock

"Prince Abdulaziz assured (me) of LPG supplies in the coming days to support our domestic requirement," India's oil minister Dharmendra Pradhan posted on his Twitter account today.
 
The minister had a VC call today with Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Aramco's Chief Executive Amin Nasser to discuss the global oil market developments and on uninterrupted LPG supplies from Saudi Arabia to India.
 
Post force majuere declaration by top Indian refiners, the demand for crude purchases from the Middle East has fallen sharply due to a nationwide lockdown to avoid the spread of coronavirus and the companies inability to liquidate the existing stock.
 
During a high level minister's meeting held in New Delhi today, the group was apprised that petroleum products are available in adequate quantity across India and there's no immediate shortage of supply.
