Aarti Industries organizes sustainable business partner conclave

The company felicitated 74 business partners who were identified as “Sustainable” under the Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) parameters during assessment done in FY 2021-22.

Demonstrating its commitment towards sustainability, Aarti Industries Ltd. organized “Sustainable Business Partner Conclave” at Hyatt Place, Vadodara.

The conclave was addressed by Rashesh Gogri, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Aarti Industries Limited; Renil Gogri, Whole Time Director, Aarti Industries Limited; and Mirik Gogri, Head Corporate Strategies, Aarti Industries Limited along with executive leaders of Aarti Industries Limited.

The company felicitated 74 business partners who were identified as “Sustainable” under the Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) parameters during assessment done in FY 2021-22.

More than 100 participants from 74 corporates attended the conclave. Enlightening the attendees on the importance of sustainability, climate change, sustainable procurement and circular economy, the speaker panel at the event saw representations from DNV-GL (Global Sustainability Assessment Agency, Norway), TERI School of Advanced Studies, IIT Madras, EcoVadis (Global Business Sustainability Rating Agency, Singapore), TfS (Together for Sustainability initiative, Belgium) and Climate Science. 

During the conclave, Prasanta Gupta, Corporate Procurement Head, Aarti Industries Limited emphasized the idea of creating a sustainable supply chain ecosystem with a focus on reducing carbon footprint in the company.

As a token of appreciation, the company awarded mementos and certificates to its business partners. The event also stimulated the commitment of award winners to invest valuable time and energy in transforming their supply chain partners towards sustainability.
