Avantium NV, a pioneer in renewable and circular polymer materials, has strengthened its partnership with global packaging leader Logoplaste through a new capacity reservation agreement for Avantium’s plant-based, fully recyclable polymer releaf (polyethylene furanoate, PEF).
The agreement secures future volumes of releaf for Logoplaste’s innovation pipeline and marks a significant step towards accelerating the development of next-generation, high-performance, and sustainable packaging solutions for beverages, food, pharma, home care, and personal care, as per a release.
Logoplaste is recognised for its expertise in injection molding and blow molding, delivering innovative, high-performance packaging across a wide range of applications.
As strategic partners within the Bottle Collective -- a consortium that includes leading brand owners such as Diageo, Opella (formerly Sanofi), and Haleon -- Logoplaste and Avantium have already contributed to advancements in recyclable fiber-based packaging.
This new agreement is designed to accelerate Logoplaste’s innovation pipeline, enabling the development of next-generation packaging solutions that reach beyond the Bottle Collective fiber bottles.
Paulo Correia, Chief Technology Officer at Logoplaste, said: “This agreement is a testament to our shared commitment to driving innovation in sustainable packaging.
