Bombay High Court directs MPCB to restart Hikal's MIDC Taloja facility

The Bombay High Court has set aside the MPCB direction and directed MPCB to grant permission

The Bombay High Court has directed Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) to restart Hikal's manufacturing unit located at MIDC Taloja facility within a week from the date of the order. 

Hikal Limited had filed a writ petition in the Bombay High Court against the MPCB direction and that the High Court, vide its order dated June 23, 2022 (received late in the evening on June 25, 2022), has set aside the MPCB direction and has directed MPCB to grant permission to the company, to re-start manufacturing activities at the company's manufacturing Unit located at MIDC Taloja within a week from the date of the order.

This is pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulation, 2015 and in furtherance to our earlier disclosures dated April 23, 2022 and May 16, 2022, in the matter of the MPCB direction dated April 22, 2022 for closure of the company's manufacturing unit located at MIDC Taloja.
