Dow India conducted a vaccination drive for the communities in Navi Mumbai. A free-for-all vaccination drive for nearly 590 people from neighbouring communities in Navi Mumbai. This was a part of a CSR initiative from Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd.

NGO Freedom For You Foundation was instrumental in executing this drive that received some phenomenal response from the entire community. The pandemic has wreaked havoc across all communities. The second wave has specifically made us realize that the vaccine is available security that we must partake in for friends and family.

This drive supported all permitted age groups and some people with disabilities. It ensured vaccinating the most vulnerable professions including, maids, autorickshaw drivers, labourers, shopkeepers, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation staff, among others.

Such initiatives for the communities are a valuable contribution and will make a difference.
