The Board of Directors of Engineers India Limited, in its meeting held on Friday, the 5th August, 2022 has approved a strategic alliance with DEEP.KBB GmbH, Germany for salt cavern projects.

The alliance shall jointly pursue Basic Design, Detail Engineering, Project Management, and Construction Supervision Services for underground and above ground Salt Cavern Storage Facilities for Hydrocarbons and other products like Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide for Indian and International clients, in line with Ell's vision "To be a global leader offering total energy solutions for a sustainable future."

The company's key competencies are storing energy deep underground and extracting brine and salt using solution mining. One can rely on extensive technical and scientific know-how, research and technological expertise, plus many years of experience.

The company's interdisciplinary team has a wealth of experience which is also used for the energy revolution: Caverns can store compressed air and hydrogen, and geothermal energy can be used to generate emission-free power.

DEEP.KBB is also actively involved in the research and development of new technologies. The company has all solutions related to underground storage: from consulting to project coordination.
