Fire at storage tank in Sadhana Nitro Chem

Tragic loss of three contract workers who were near the incident and additionally three other contract workers sustained minor injuries and are currently receiving medical attention at the hospital

On September 12, 2024, at approximately 11:15 AM, an unfortunate accident occurred at Sadhana Nitro Chem Limited plant located in Dhatav MIDC, Roha, Maharashtra. A fire broke out in one of the plant’s storage tanks, resulting in the tragic loss of three contract workers who were near the incident and additionally three other contract workers sustained minor injuries and are currently receiving medical attention at the hospital.

The fire was contained within approximately 30 minutes and was limited to the isolated storage tank involved. As a precautionary measure, the affected area has been cordoned off, to ensure normal operations at the factory are not disrupted.

The company is working closely with the authorities and are committed to ensuring highest safety standards as the company is investigating this matter further and updating its internal security system.
