Fire in Camlin Fine Sciences subsidiary

The reason for the fire was a short circuit in the centrifuge motor which took place during the purification process

A fire broke out in the unit of Camlin Fine Sciences Limited subsidiary Chemolutions Chemicals Limited, engaged in job work situated at Plot E- 44, MIDC, Tarapur, District Palghar, Maharashtra on December 23, 2021 at around 5:35 P.M.

The emergency response team and local authorities brought the fire under control and the company is extending its full cooperation to the local authorities.

The fire incident had no material impact on the operations of the company and operations continue to function normally. Also, no fatal casualty or loss of life has been reported.

As per the initial investigation, the reason for the fire was a short circuit in the centrifuge motor which took place during the purification process.

The production in the said unit was temporarily disrupted due to the incident but there has been no loss of production for the company and operations continue to be normal.
