The Indian Chemical Council (ICC) hosted its 59th Annual ICC Awards Presentation and the 15th Annual Seminar on the topic of ‘Recognizing Excellence of Performance in Various Facets of the Chemical Industry’ and gave a lifetime achievement award to Deepak C. Mehta, CMD, Deepak Group.

Receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Deepak C. Mehta, CMD, Deepak Group said, “I believe in the importance of forward-thinking and responsible chemistry, where ethics, aesthetics, and economics align. From my journey at Deepak Nitrite, I’ve learned that creating surpluses helps markets thrive, and striving for world-class quality is essential. I’m deeply grateful for the unwavering support of my family, especially my wife, and my dedicated team. I cherish the friendships I’ve built in the chemical industry because of ICC and thank my mentors, Professor M. M. Sharma and Professor J. B. Joshi.

It highlighted the commitment of companies and individuals towards progress and sustainability of the industry.
