MBCC acquires Singapore-based firm Nautec

MBCC Group announced the acquisition of Nautec Group (Nautec), a leading manufacturer of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) and cementitious composites for onshore and offshore wind turbine foundations, as well as for repair, strengthening and installation of offshore and marine structures. The acquisition extends MBCC Group’s commitment to continue to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions to its customers in the wind turbine industry.
 
The transaction closed today and the parties agreed to keep the financial details of the transaction confidential.
 
Founded in Singapore in 2011, Nautec started its journey of excellence in developing and manufacturing UHPC-based structural strengthening solutions for the energy industry in South East Asia. The company continued to grow organically into multiple markets, including renewables, ports and offshore, civil construction industries, as well as the downhole market. Following the expansion of its capabilities globally, Nautec now operates five offices across Asia, Australasia, India, the Middle East, and the Americas. These offices combine local knowledge with global support to offer value-added UHPC solutions to globally operating customers. The company runs a fully automated production facility in Malaysia and state-of-the-art R&D facilities.
