Reliance wins six awards at Chemical and Petrochemical Industry Awards

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has won six awards at the recently concluded Chemical and Petrochemical Industry Awards ceremony held in New Delhi. 

The event was a part of the Global Chemicals & Petrochemicals Manufacturing Hubs in India Summit 2021 (GCPMH 2021) that was organized in a phygital format. 

Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry of India, presented the Company of the Era Award to Kamal P. Nanavati, President, Reliance Industries Limited. She also presented the Leading Company Contributing Towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat in Petrochemicals Award to Suketu Vakil, President, Reliance Industries Limited. 

The company also won Excellence in Health Safety and Environment in Petrochemicals and Excellence in Energy Conservation and Management in Petrochemicals’ (Private Sector). 

Suketu Vakil, President, RIL, received the Award for Lifetime Contribution whereas Manmohan, Former President, RIL was honored with the Award for Lifetime Contribution. 

Reliance is India’s largest private sector company, with a consolidated turnover of US $73.8 billion, cash profit of US $10.9 billion, and net profit of US $7.4 billion for the year ended March 31, 2021. Reliance’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail, and digital services.
