Sika reports record employee engagement by beating strategic target ahead of 2028 goal

Sika has posted standout results from its 2026 Global Employee Survey, revealing an employee engagement score of 88 index points, up two points from 2024 and comfortably above the company’s long-term target.
 
The result not only marks year-on-year improvement but also surpasses Sika’s Strategy 2028 engagement benchmark of 80, reinforcing what the company describes as a deeply embedded global culture of collaboration and performance.
 
The bi-annual survey, run by an external market research firm, recorded an exceptional 88% participation rate this year. It measures employee sentiment across the global workforce and is used to guide cultural and organisational improvements. 
 
Despite continued geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainty, Sika said engagement levels remain strongly elevated and well above external industry benchmarks.

Sika, a global specialty chemicals company operating in 103 countries with more than 400 factories, said the results confirm its workforce remains closely aligned with its strategic direction as it continues to support the transformation of construction and transport industries toward more sustainable solutions.
 
In 2025, the company reported 33,700 employees and annual sales of CHF 11.20 billion, underscoring its position as a major global player in construction and industrial chemicals.
