The move strengthens Stahl’s position in the fast-growing packaging coatings sector

Stahl, the global leader in speciality coatings for flexible materials, has finalized the integration of Weilburger Graphics’ packaging coatings operations in Turkey. This marks another major step in its 2024 acquisition of the company.

The move strengthens Stahl’s position in the fast-growing packaging coatings sector and expands its presence in a strategically critical market. By transitioning the former Weilburger Graphics operations into Stahl Kimya, the company deepens its commitment to Turkish customers while sharpening its global competitive edge.

Stahl Kimya will roll out an expanded portfolio of high-performance, future-focused coating solutions, combining the company’s global technical expertise with local market insight.

"Turkey is a strategically important market for Stahl, and the integration of Weilburger Graphics’ activities allows us to serve our local customers with even greater efficiency and innovation,” said Raymond Bakker, Business Director Packaging Coatings, EMEA. “By uniting the strengths of both companies, we are creating a stronger organisation committed to supporting the fast-evolving needs of the packaging industry.”

Backed by more than 140 years of global know-how, Stahl says its technology delivers durability, visual impact, and reduced environmental footprint. Customers in Turkey will benefit from streamlined processes, stronger technical support and a more transparent, customer-focused route to market.

The company says it has taken steps to ensure a seamless transition. Sales Manager Serkan Bekar will continue supporting customers, and starting 1 December 2025, all packaging-coatings orders in Turkey will be handled directly by Stahl Kimya.
