Symrise announced that it has completed the acquisition of Wing Pet Food. The company formerly operated as Wing Biotech. It has established itself as a Chinese leader in pet food palatability enhancers and supplier of pet food nutrition and pet food protection ingredients.

At the same time, it will accelerate our diversification in the areas of nutrition and food protection. Headquartered in Shanghai, Wing Pet Food’s competitive portfolio will extend Symrise Pet Food’s access to the highly attractive Asia/Pacific region (APAC). Experts consider it the fastest growing region for pet food applications globally.

Wing Pet Food operates with around 200 employees and a state-of-the-art Research & Devel-opment center in Shanghai. It also includes two high-standard production sites strategically sit-uated in the Chinese provinces of Jiangxi and Jiangsu.
