In a major push for clean energy in Uttar Pradesh, Greenzo Energy India and Lord’s Mark Industries have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly roll out large-scale green hydrogen and renewable energy projects across the state.

The agreement targets the development of nearly 60 MW of green hydrogen capacity, alongside integrated solar rooftop installations coupled with battery energy storage systems. Key project locations include Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Jhansi and Lucknow.

Under the pact, Greenzo Energy will act as the technology and EPC partner, handling engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. Lord’s Mark Industries will take the lead as project developer and investor, managing financing, regulatory clearances, development and commercial structuring.

The collaboration builds on Lord’s Mark Industries’ earlier MoU with the Government of Uttar Pradesh for renewable energy development, involving an estimated investment of over ₹2,000 crore. Together, the companies aim to fast-track green hydrogen infrastructure and drive industrial decarbonisation in one of India’s fastest-growing states.

Commenting on the development, Sandeep Agarwal, Managing Director, Greenzo Energy India Limited, said, “This collaboration represents an important step in accelerating the deployment of green hydrogen infrastructure at scale. By combining our indigenous hydrogen technology and EPC expertise with Lord’s Mark’s strong project development capabilities, we aim to support Uttar Pradesh’s renewable energy vision and contribute meaningfully to India’s clean energy and decarbonisation objectives.”

Sachidanand Upadhyay, Managing Director, Lord’s Mark Industries Limited, added, “Our partnership with Greenzo Energy brings together strong development expertise and proven hydrogen technology capabilities. This collaboration aligns with Uttar Pradesh’s renewable energy roadmap and will help execute large-scale, sustainable green hydrogen projects delivering long-term economic and environmental benefits.”

The MoU will remain valid for five years, creating a formal framework for both companies to jointly pursue upcoming green hydrogen and renewable energy opportunities across the state.
