The LyondellBasell site in Astorp, Sweden, which produces color masterbatches, has successfully attained the Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) Europe certification, becoming the first OCS Europe certified site in the Nordics.

The certification comes as a result of an external audit conducted by DNV, a renowned global quality assurance and risk management company. This accomplishment aligns seamlessly with the company's strategic goal to "create solutions for everyday sustainable living."

The OCS Europe certification underscores the company’s dedication to environmental stewardship, waste reduction, and responsible plastic management.

Operation Clean Sweep is an international program designed to help companies in the plastics industry prevent pellet, flake, and powder loss by ensuring that such materials are handled with care to prevent their release to the environment.
