Evonik and Nippon Paint China join forces on coating solutions

Partnership focuses on developing eco-friendly coating solutions to meet growing consumer demand

Evonik Coating Additives and Nippon Paint China announced a strategic partnership. This agreement unites Evonik’s expertise in high performance additive solutions with Nippon Paint China’s market-leading position in the coating industry. The collaboration will focus on creating next-generation products that meet consumers’ growing demands for environmentally friendly solutions. Together, the two companies aim to set new industry standards in sustainability, performance, and innovation. 

The partnership was officially signed in Shanghai by Elias Lacerda, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Evonik Coating Additives and Bai Yi, Vice President, Procurement of Nippon Paint China.
