Goa Carbon resumes operations at Goa Unit

Goa Carbon Limited has informed that the operations at the company's Goa Unit located at St. Jose de Areal, Salcete-Goa has resumed. The Kiln has been lit up. After preliminary heat up and commencement of feeding of raw material, normal production has resumed.

LIC increases stake in Mahanagar Gas

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has increased equity shares in Mahanagar Gas Limited from 69,29,335 to 89,19,236 thereby increasing its shareholding from 7.015% to 9.030% of the paid-up capital of the said company.

GHCL's Credit Rating reaffirmed by CRISIL Ratings

CRISIL Ratings Limited, one of the Credit Rating Agency, has reaffirmed the CRISIL AA - (i.e. Double A Minus) rating, and revised the outlook to Positive from Stable, to GHCL Limited for issuance of Nonconvertible Debentures (NCD) of Rs. 150 crores, which may be issued within a period of 180 days, subject to other necessary compliances regarding issuance of said NCD.
