SABIC Agri-Nutrients has received feedstock allocation from the Ministry of Energy to set up a blue (low carbon) ammonia project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The company received approval from the Ministry to build the plant in Jubail Industrial City to produce 1.2 MMTA of Blue (low carbon) Ammonia and to produce 1.1 MMTA of Urea and specialised Agri-Nutrients.

The company will do the engineering studies to evaluate the leading technologies and will select the most efficient in energy and feedstock utilisation.
