Eurofragance plants its flag in Jakarta with €1 million creative center

The new hub will drive co-creation, formulation and customer collaboration across fine fragrance, home and personal care

Eurofragance has opened its first Creative Center in Indonesia, a €1 million investment that signals the Spanish fragrance house’s biggest push yet into one of Asia Pacific’s fastest-growing scent markets.

The new hub, located in South Jakarta’s Arkadia Green Park, will drive co-creation, formulation and customer collaboration across fine fragrance, home and personal care. It joins the company’s global network of Creative Centers in Barcelona, Dubai, Mexico, India and Singapore.

The timing is no coincidence. Indonesia’s fragrance market is surging, powered by rising consumer sophistication and a hunger for locally inspired scents. Southeast Asia’s fragrance sector is projected to grow at more than 3% annually through 2030, placing Indonesia at the heart of the region’s expansion.

“Indonesia sits at the heart of Southeast Asia’s fragrance landscape,” said Balwinder Rolley, General Manager for APAC at Eurofragance. “This Creative Center lets us collaborate more closely with our partners, move faster from idea to shelf and design fragrances that truly reflect local tastes.”

Spanning 770 square meters and operating under PT. Euronindo Fragance Internusa, the Jakarta site houses state-of-the-art perfumery, evaluation and applications labs. It also deploys Eurofragance’s proprietary technologies, including EuroCaps for long-lasting scent delivery and EuroPure for odour neutralization, offering brand partners high-performance, science-driven solutions.

Aligned with the company’s sustainability commitments, the facility incorporates eco-conscious practices from renewable raw materials to energy-efficient operations.

“Jakarta is where trends begin and evolve,” said Edy Chandra, Country Manager for Eurofragance Indonesia. “Being here allows us to immerse ourselves in Indonesian culture and craft scents that are not only high-quality but deeply meaningful to local consumers.”

The launch builds on a string of regional milestones for Eurofragance, including the establishment of its Indonesian entity in 2023, the opening of its Mumbai Creative Center in 2024, and the Singapore hub in 2016. Together, they underscore the company’s long-term commitment to Asia Pacific and its strategy of growth through customer-focused innovation.
