Paradeep Phosphates Ltd (PPL), one of India’s largest private-sector fertilizer companies, has earned a prestigious spot in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, emerging as the only Indian fertilizer company to be recognized this year.
PPL scored an impressive 76 out of 100, placing it among the top 2% of the global chemical sector and in the top 15% overall. This milestone underscores the company’s long-standing commitment to sustainability and robust ESG performance.
The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook recognizes companies that excel in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. Over 9,200 companies were evaluated in the 2025 Corporate Sustainability Assessment, with only 848 across 59 industries making the cut for 2026.
