The company wants to manufacture 100 MTPM of PROFENOFOS. The by-products will be hydrogen bromide (72.33 MTPM) and TMABr (45 MTPM).

The projected cost of the proposed unit is Rs 3.5 crore and the total plot area is 2,531 sq m of which greenbelt will be developed on an area of 850 sq m.

Because of the project, there will not be any major potential for negative impact on the environment, the company said.
